Former Georgia Tech standout Kowacie Reeves Jr. has inked an Exhibit-10 contract with the Indiana Pacers, a deal that positions him to vie for a roster spot or a place on the G League affiliate during the summer league.
A collegiate career of impact
During his final three seasons at Georgia Tech, Reeves started every game, averaging 15.1 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.2 assists while shooting efficiently from beyond the arc. He topped the Yellow Jackets with 60 three-pointers and ranked second in steals and blocks, finishing his college tenure with 1,231 points, including 808 at Tech.
His performance earned him a slot in the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament, where he posted averages of 23 points and 5.3 rebounds and was recognized with All-Tournament honors, further cementing his reputation as a high-volume scorer.
Before signing, Reeves worked out for several NBA franchises, notably the Washington Wizards and the Pacers themselves, showcasing his abilities in pre-draft settings and generating buzz among team scouts.
The road ahead
An Exhibit-10 contract offers a modest guaranteed salary if the player makes the team, while also providing a clear pathway through the summer league to demonstrate readiness for NBA action. For Reeves, the agreement represents both a validation of his collegiate achievements and a fresh platform to translate his scoring instincts to the professional arena.
