Kroger is set to transform its West Main Street store in Lebanon, Tennessee, into a NASCAR‑themed gathering on the afternoon of May 29, inviting locals to celebrate the sport while accessing a suite of health and charitable services.
The festivities will run from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 1418‑A West Main Street, where fans can meet Ryan Preece, a NASCAR Cup Series driver sponsored by Kroger, between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m.
A Racing Celebration in Lebanon
A gleaming NASCAR show car will be on display, and attendees stand a chance to win race‑day tickets, while a lineup of giveaways and product samples from Celsius, Capri Sun, Little Bites and Huggies will keep the energy high.
Kroger Health will staff the venue with blood‑pressure screenings, weight‑management counseling and vaccine education, and the American Heart Association will conduct hands‑only CPR workshops for participants of all ages.
Health and Community Outreach
The event also showcases a Colgate Bright Smiles mobile truck, an Oscar Mayer Frankmobile and an AstraZeneca inflatable lung exhibit, adding a playful twist to the health‑focused theme.
Local first responders, including the Lebanon Police Department and Fire Department, alongside USO volunteers, will join the celebration, with the latter collecting non‑perishable food items to assemble meal kits for military families.
All proceeds from the food‑drive will be directed to families of service members, underscoring the event’s broader mission of support beyond the racetrack.
Free grilled hot dogs and assorted samples will be handed out, reinforcing the community‑centric atmosphere as the day blends sport, wellness and giving back.
