A New Format for a Classic Tradition
Kansas University is set to revive its beloved Late Night in the Phog tradition next year, but with a new twist: the men's and women's basketball programs will each stage their own fan‑focused evening. The gatherings will showcase player introductions, giveaways and a variety of activities aimed at building excitement for the upcoming season.
The men's team will open its schedule on Friday, October 16, with a home matchup against Pittsburg State. A week later, on Wednesday, October 21, the squad will travel to face Louisville in an exhibition game. In addition, the front lawn of Allen Fieldhouse will host Phog Fest, extending the festivities beyond the arena.
