The first of those engagements takes place at Fremont Speedway in Ohio, where Larson will join the Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing lineup. He will then travel to Attica Raceway Park and Eldora Speedway, each event forming part of a four‑race dirt slate that the driver has described as a “busy but exciting” week.
Despite the distraction of the dirt series, Larson remains sixth in the Cup Series standings with 594 points, trailing leader Denny Hamlin by 197 points after 20 races. The points gap underscores the challenge he faces in reclaiming a championship position, but his recent form suggests he is far from out of contention.
This season Larson has already logged eight top‑five finishes and 11 top‑10s, a consistency that has kept him in the playoff conversation.
