A New Chapter for the Chargers
Kyle Overstreet has been elevated to the position of Associate Head Coach and Recruiting Coordinator for the University of Alabama in Huntsville women’s basketball program, a move that underscores the program’s accelerating trajectory.
He joined the Chargers ahead of the 2024‑25 season as an assistant coach and quickly became a cornerstone of a squad that achieved back‑to‑back NCAA Tournament appearances and a Final Four run during the 2025‑26 campaign.
In his new role, Overstreet will shape offensive and defensive strategies, lead scouting efforts, drive recruitment initiatives, and oversee skill development and athletic aid for the team.
A native of Jacksonville, Florida, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Alabama, a background that informs his approach to player development and performance.
