Former collegiate field hockey player Kylie Kelce is set to return to the sidelines as a guest coach at the Longstreth Field Hockey Skills Clinic scheduled for July 26 in Ocean City.
A Summer Opportunity for Young Athletes
The clinic, which runs from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Ocean City High School, is open to boys and girls between the ages of seven and fourteen, providing a focused environment for skill development.
Participants can expect a mix of skill drills, specialized goalie training and a series of giveaways, all designed to sharpen fundamentals before the summer season.
Kelce, who played at Cabrini University and earned CSAC Rookie of the Year honors in 2013, now serves as the head varsity coach at Lower Merion High School in Ardmore, Pennsylvania.
She will be joined by a roster of college standouts including Maddi Sears, Callen Todd, Jillian Tetzlaff, Gabby Balzano, Reagan Stauts and Kara Heck, each bringing experience from programs such as Villanova University, James Madison University, The College of New Jersey, Saint Joseph's University, Temple University and the University of North Carolina.
Community Partnerships
The event is organized in collaboration with Longstrewh, the premier supplier of women's field hockey gear, and several academic institutions, underscoring the region’s commitment to growing the sport at the youth level.
Spaces in the clinic are limited and the registration fee is $60 per player, a price that reflects the intensive instruction and the provision of equipment from Longstreth.
