LA Kings unveil 39‑player roster for 2026 Development Camp

Among the attendees is forward Elton Hermansson, the 19th overall pick in the 2026 NHL Draft, who arrives after a season with MoDo Hockey in Sweden and a stint with Sweden’s under‑18 national team. His international experience adds a global flavor to a group that also features Czech defenseman Vojtěch Čihař, who posted eight points in 27 games for Karlovy Vary HC, and American forward Jimmy Lombardi, who set career‑best numbers with the Flint Firebirds.
The camp’s composition reflects a strategic mix: 21 forwards, 14 defensemen and four goaltenders, including Western Michigan net‑minder Hampton Slukynsky, who posted an NCAA‑best 27 wins in his sophomore season, and Owen Sound Attack alum Carter George, a three‑time camp veteran. Defenseman Jared Woolley, fresh off a 36‑point campaign, and 2025 draft pick Henry Brzustewicz, who contributed for the London Knights in the OHL, round out the defensive options.
