The home side struck early, with Heung Min Son opening the scoring in the fifth minute. Son’s precise finish set the tone, and LAFC continued to press, adding two more goals before the break. Denis Bouanga, who had been a constant threat, doubled the lead in the 37th minute, while David Martinez capped the half‑time surge with a strike in the 49th minute.
