Division 4 All‑State Honorable Mentions
The Michigan High School Soccer Coaches Association has announced its all‑state selections for every division, and in Division 4 two Laker players earned honorable‑mention accolades.
Junior Ana Vega, who operates as an attacking center‑midfielder, finished the campaign with 11 goals and eight assists, showcasing her ball‑handling skill and selfless play.
Olivia Delmotte, a forward and junior in her third year on the varsity squad, contributed 23 goals and six assists, a scoring threat that can find the net from multiple areas of the pitch.
Coach Becky Krohn praised both athletes for their defensive discipline and leadership, noting that their growth over the past three seasons has been pivotal to the team’s progress.
Krohn added that Vega’s unselfish style and Delmotte’s ability to strike from distance have made them standout performers, while both have consistently elevated the squad’s overall performance.
