A Club Built on Inclusion
Founded in 2010, Lansing Common Football Club has become a cornerstone of youth soccer in Michigan, welcoming more than 500 participants of all ages and skill levels. The organization’s mission centers on creating a positive, inclusive environment where young athletes can develop both as players and as members of the community.
The club offers a full spectrum of programs, from recreational leagues that emphasize fun and fundamentals to competitive travel teams that challenge players to reach higher performance standards. In addition, adult leagues and clinics provide continued opportunities for growth and enjoyment of the sport.
Community involvement is woven into the club’s identity. Regular participation in local events and charity initiatives underscores a commitment to giving back, while outreach programs aim to make soccer accessible to families across the region.
Experienced coaches guide participants, focusing on skill development, sportsmanship, and personal growth. Their dedication ensures that each player receives the support needed to unlock their full potential on and off the field.
Lansing Common calls Hawk Island Park its home field, a venue that offers safe, well‑maintained facilities for training and competition. The club’s affiliation with the Michigan State Youth Soccer Association provides a structured pathway for players aspiring to advance in the sport.
Safety and support remain top priorities. The club implements rigorous protocols to protect all members, fostering an environment where families feel confident and players can thrive.
