All‑District Selections Shine for Laredo Baseball
Even though none of the Laredo high school baseball teams advanced to the playoffs, the district’s 30‑5A awards spotlighted a wealth of talent across the region. Coaches and administrators praised the depth of skill that kept the area competitive throughout the season.
Nixon emerged as the most decorated program, securing 13 All‑District nods, including a rare double‑position first‑team honor for Ryan Gaona. The senior pitcher‑first baseman was lauded for his dual excellence on the mound and at the plate.
