The American Baseball Coaches Association has named the Le Moyne College baseball squad as a recipient of its Team Academic Excellence Award for the 2025‑26 academic year.
The team posted a collective grade point average of 3.406, comfortably surpassing the 3.0 threshold that the association uses to honor programs with strong scholarly performance.
On the competitive side, the Dolphins concluded their third season back at the Division I level with a 22‑26 overall record, a mark that placed them fourth in the Northeastern Conference standings.
That finish also delivered the program’s inaugural berth in the conference championship game, a milestone that has energized the campus community.
Historic Wins and Future Momentum
The 22 conference victories recorded this season represent the most wins the program has achieved since the 2007 MAAC‑era squad finished 22‑3, underscoring the program’s upward trajectory.
