Legacy Football Camp Returns to Grand Forks This July

Sanford Health, UND Athletics and Youth Football collaborate on a $50, three‑session camp for young athletes

A summer tradition is set to continue in Grand Forks as Sanford Health, Grand Forks Youth Football and University of North Dakota Athletics join forces to host the Greater Grand Forks Legacy Football Camp on July 7.

Camp Overview

The event will be held at the Fritz Pollard Athletic Center at Memorial Village, the same facility that serves as the home field for UND’s football program.

Camp Structure

Three separate sessions are planned, each tailored to a specific age range and gender, allowing youngsters to train in an environment that matches their developmental stage.

Each session begins with a 20‑minute warm‑up led by Sanford Sports training staff, after which campers rotate through skill stations run by UND Fighting Hawks players and local youth football coaches.

What Participants Need

Campers must bring mouthguards and football cleats; football gloves are optional but should be clearly labeled with the athlete’s name.

Registration carries a $50 fee, and families can secure a spot and find additional details at gfyouthfootball.com.
