Legend Glasker, a true freshman wide receiver for the BYU Cougars, stepped onto the field in Week 1 of the Big 12 and instantly became a focal point of the offense.
Week One Impact
His first carry came on the opening drive, where he turned a jet sweep into the Cougars’ opening touchdown, and he later added two reception touchdowns and two rushing scores, finishing the game with 81 yards on five touches.
Glasker’s blend of speed and agility allowed him to outrun Utah Tech defenders, a factor that helped him secure the Big 12 Freshman of the Week honor.
Offensive coordinator Aaron Roderick has expressed strong confidence in the rookie, inserting him early into the game plan and trusting his versatility on the field.
With such a promising start, Glasker is poised to be a key contributor for BYU in the weeks ahead and could contend for additional Freshman of the Week recognitions.
