Leo Gershgorin, a Brookline, Massachusetts native, has accepted an assistant coaching position at Franklin Pierce University, bringing a decade of experience from both high school and AAU programs.
Prior to joining the Ravens, he served as lead assistant at Colby‑Sawyer College, where he oversaw recruiting, player development, and day‑to‑day operations for the men’s basketball team.
A Coach With Deep Roots in Player Development
His coaching philosophy centers on building relationships with student‑athletes and helping them grow as players and as young men.
Gershgorin expressed gratitude to Coach Art Luptowski for welcoming him to the program and outlined his goals of contributing to the team’s success in the Northeast‑10 Conference.
He looks forward to continuing the university’s tradition of competitive basketball while emphasizing personal development off the court.
