During his sophomore season the 6‑6 wing posted averages of 11.9 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.5 assists while shooting 47.3 % from the field, 36.2 % from three‑point range and 75 % at the free‑throw line. His defensive contributions earned him a spot on the All‑Missouri Valley defensive team and placed him among the conference’s best in turnover and foul rates.
Bond’s statistical profile also reveals a high‑percent shooter in transition, ranking in the 83rd percentile nationally, and an effective field‑goal percentage of 50.8 % in half‑court situations. He has shown the ability to score in bursts, delivering a career‑high 26 points against Oakland and reaching the 20‑point mark in four games last year.
Coach T.J. Otzelberger sees Bond as a logical wing target to replace departing players Nate Heise and Milan Momcilovic, citing his shot‑making value and defensive upside.
