Liberty University has released its 2026‑27 women’s basketball non‑conference schedule, a 14‑game slate that opens on November 2 with a matchup against Frostburg State. That contest represents the earliest debut in the program’s history and sets a brisk tone for the upcoming season.
A packed non‑conference road
The Lady Flames will test themselves against familiar foes in December, hosting George Mason on the 5th and James Madison on the 8th, before traveling to Richmond on the 13th for another in‑state showdown. Those games form part of a tightly packed December that underscores the team’s regional focus.
A four‑game stretch in North Carolina, scheduled from November 7 through November 19, will take Liberty to East Carolina, North Carolina State, North Carolina A&T and Elon. The Elon contest marks the first visit to the Schar Center since its 2018 opening, a venue that has quickly become a focal point for the program.
Beyond the Mid‑Atlantic, the Flames will head to Pennsylvania for two holiday tournaments. The Christmas City Classic in Baltimore will feature a Nov 28 game against Lehigh, with potential matchups against Harvard and Pitt on the following day. A week later, the Hawk Classic in Philadelphia will see Liberty face Washington State on Dec 20 and either Holy Cross or Saint Joseph’s on Dec 21, the latter being the team’s first meeting with the Hawks since 2013.
Tickets for the season start at $40 for general admission, while premium seating and exclusive experiences are available to members of the Flames Club, providing fans with a range of options to follow the action.
