Liberty Football is set to open its doors to the community on Saturday, August 22, with a free “Meet the Team” event that gives fans a first look at the program ahead of the 2026 season.
The gathering, held at the Liberty Indoor Practice Facility from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., will begin with gates opening at 1 p.m., allowing attendees to explore the campus’s football complex, sample fare from local vendors and try out inflatable attractions before the main program kicks off.
Guests will be guided through a tour that highlights the stadium’s cabanas, the Carter Tower broadcast booths, the weight room and other behind‑the‑scenes areas, giving a rare glimpse of the infrastructure that supports the team.
The schedule also includes a talent showcase featuring current players, a series of quick‑fire games where younger fans can compete against the athletes, and an autograph session that lets supporters sign up for schedule posters and meet the roster.
Interviews with Leadership
During the event, Liberty Director of Athletics Ian McCaw and head coach Jamey Chadwell will sit down for interviews that shed light on the upcoming campaign and the program’s ambitions.
For those ready to commit early, season tickets for the 2026 slate are now on sale, with prices starting at $90 and discounts that can reach up to 56 percent, making the prospect of watching the team live more affordable than ever.
Premium options, including club seats and limited cabana packages, remain available, though availability is finite, encouraging interested supporters to act quickly.
