Academic Honor Roll Recognition
The Liberty women's basketball program has once again been celebrated for its scholarly achievements, securing a spot on the Women's Basketball Coaches Association Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll for the fifth consecutive year.
During the 2025‑26 academic year the squad posted a collective grade point average of 3.443, with eleven of the twelve roster members maintaining a 3.0 GPA or higher, underscoring a culture that values both athletics and scholarship.
Leading the way, senior guard Maleah Alexander posted a perfect 4.0 GPA, while fellow standout Emmy Stout added to her academic résumé by earning spots on both the CUSA All‑Academic Team and the CSC Academic All‑District Team.
Program Legacy
Program officials note that Liberty has appeared on the WBCA Academic Top 25 Honor Roll six times in its history, a testament to sustained excellence across multiple coaching tenures.
