The Lincoln Stars are gearing up for the 2026‑27 campaign, with three preseason matchups slated for early September that will serve as the first test of a roster still taking shape.
Forging Chemistry Before the Puck Drops
Those September games are more than just a warm‑up; they give coaches a chance to evaluate talent, lock in line combinations and let players adjust to the speed of USHL competition.
The regular season opener is scheduled for Friday, October 2, marking the official start of a schedule that promises relentless, fast‑paced hockey from the opening face‑off.
Beyond the on‑ice product, the Stars will sprinkle the calendar with theme nights and special events at the Ice Box, aiming to create memorable experiences that go beyond the game itself.
Fans are encouraged to plan early, securing tickets for the preseason contests and the October 2 opener, to be part of what could become a breakout season for the franchise.
