Road Trip Begins
The Lindenwood women's soccer squad is set to embark on a three‑game road swing, beginning Thursday, August 27, when they meet Evansville at 6:00 p.m. at Arad McCutchan Stadium.
The Lions, who opened the season with a 1‑0 victory over Bellarmine, have since endured a three‑match winless stretch, the longest losing streak since 2023, and sit at the bottom of a three‑game skid.
Facing the Eagles
Evansville arrives with a 1‑0‑1 record after a 2‑0 win over SEMO, and all three of their goals this season have been produced by different scorers and playmakers.
The two programs have met twice before, splitting the series with a 2‑1 home win for Lindenwood last season and a 2‑1 road loss earlier this year, setting the stage for another tightly contested clash.
Looking ahead, the Lions will travel to face Omaha on Sunday, with kickoff slated for 1:00 p.m., hoping to reset their momentum before the next stretch of road games.
