Little League International is set to shine a spotlight on two extraordinary recipients of its 2026 Signature Awards, celebrating contributions that echo far beyond the baseball diamond.

Jeremiah Trotter Sr., a former Philadelphia Eagles Hall of Famer and dedicated coach, receives the George H.W. and Barbara Bush Parents of the Year Award for his dual role as a mentor on the field and a father guiding his children’s athletic journeys.
The accolade underscores the organization’s belief that parental investment shapes character, leadership and lifelong success, highlighting the Trotter family’s embodiment of those principles.
A Partnership That Endures
WVIA, the public media outlet serving Pennsylvania and surrounding regions, is awarded the Howard Hartman Friendship Award in recognition of its enduring partnership with Little League, which has included game presentations since 2011 and the production of a commemorative film marking the league’s 75th anniversary.
Both honorees will be celebrated on the national stage during the 2026 Little League Baseball World Series, Presented by T‑Mobile, with ceremonies scheduled for August 27 and August 29, offering a platform to showcase their stories to a global audience.
