LMU Lions Basketball Eyes 2026‑27 Season with New WCC Rivals and Low‑Cost Tickets

Head Coach Stan Johnson announces affordable season tickets, fan perks and expanded schedule

A new era for LMU basketball

Under the guidance of Head Coach Stan Johnson, the Loyola Marymount University men’s basketball program is gearing up for the 2026‑27 campaign. The team will welcome a wave of new Western Collegiate Athletic Association opponents, including Denver, Pacific, Portland, Saint Mary’s, San Diego, San Francisco, Santa Clara and Seattle U., expanding the conference slate.

Season tickets for the upcoming year are already on sale, with prices starting below $10 per game, making them among the most accessible options in college basketball. Ticket holders receive prime seating locations, two complimentary beers at each home contest and priority access to postseason tickets, adding extra value to the affordable package.

Ticket pricing and seating options

Fans can choose from several seating tiers: courtside experiences are priced at $899, reserved chairback seats at $249 and reserved bleacher spots at $159. Returning season ticket holders from the 2025‑26 season avoid a deposit and have their seats reserved, while LMU faculty and staff can secure discounted chairback tickets for $189.

All regular‑season home games are free for current students who present a valid OneCard, and students aged 21 and older with a government‑issued ID can redeem two free beers per game. The university also encourages contributions to the Lions Athletic Fund to enhance student‑athlete experiences across programs.

Updates and live coverage will be available through LMULions.com as well as on X, Facebook and Instagram, ensuring that supporters stay connected throughout the season.
