The schedule promises marquee matchups; the season opener at University Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 5 will pit New Mexico against Central Michigan at 8 p.m., followed by a showdown with Oklahoma and a later clash with UNLV.
Adding to the preseason buzz, 17 Lobos earned spots on the All‑Mountain West team, the second‑most selections in the conference, underscoring the league’s belief in the program’s upward trend.
