Conference Honors
The Manistee girls soccer team concluded a demanding campaign with a 2‑13 overall record and a 1‑9 mark in West Michigan Conference play, yet two of its athletes still earned league‑wide acclaim. Alayna Edmondson was selected to the first team as a centerback, while midfielder Lindsey Gardner received an honorable mention.
Recognition Across the Region
Beyond Manistee, players from Ludington, North Muskegon, Fremont, Hart, Ravenna, Montague, Shelby, Whitehall and Oakridge were also celebrated for their performances, with multiple athletes named to first teams, honorable mentions, or simply acknowledged in the conference’s post‑season lists. Hestyn Stowe, Kaia Jones and Norah Kiessel shone for Ludington; Grace Forfinski, Emmy Creed and Delaney Young highlighted North Muskegon; Emma Buchmiller, Alex Johnson and Regina McCollum stood out for Fremont; Grace Evans, Maddie Mater and Breven Powell contributed for Fremont as well; Esther Vissia and Addison Barefoot represented Hart; Rilynn Porter and Olivia Bradley added their marks for Hart; Taryn Marsman, Monroe Wilde and Camila Mares were noted from Ravenna; Elle Moran, Lilly Rice and Marguerite O'Connell from Montague; Kylie Brown, Annabelle Stark and Brylee Friedman from Shelby; Izzy Causie, Kate Beda and Alayna Weiss from Whitehall and Oakridge; Claire Keith, Addison Reid and Tori Wade earned honorable mentions from Ludington, North Muskegon and Fremont; Natalie Rosema, Adde Swanson and Callie Peterson from Hart, Ravenna and Montague; and Sydney Reed and Reese Hesse from Shelby and Whitehall.
