A Season of Recognition
The American Legion announced its Southern All-League roster for the 2026 regular season, honoring five standout players from the Brattleboro and Bellows Falls area. The selections reflect a competitive year in Vermont baseball and set the stage for the upcoming state tournament.
Post 37 in Bellows Falls contributed three of the honorees: Steven Joslyn, Eli Allbee and Devyn Cheeney. Their performances helped the team maintain a strong regional presence and earned them a place among the league's elite.
Post 5's Dual Selections
Brattleboro Post 5 also celebrated two players on the list: Jackson Dermatis and Sean Cozza. Both athletes played pivotal roles for their club, which advanced to the state tournament before falling in the semifinals to Essex Post 91.
The Vermont State Legion Tournament is scheduled to conclude on Friday, with a championship game that will crown this year's titleholder. The event brings together the top teams from across the state, showcasing the culmination of a season marked by regional accolades and competitive spirit.
