In the Altoona Independent Youth Baseball League, the Major League race remains tightly contested as Sylvan Veterinary, Cumming Motors and Fiore True Value jostle for position.
Cumming Motors secured a 6‑4 victory over Fiore True Value, highlighted by solid hitting from Noel, Novak and Fornbacher, while Sylvan Veterinary answered with a 7‑2 win against Sheetz, thanks to contributions from Mish, Clayton and Coble.
The 10U division is led by Trophy Life, which sits atop the standings at 9‑3‑1, followed closely by Altoona First Savings Bank and C&J Cabinets.

Over in the Altoona Area Baseball Association’s Major League, Leonard S. Fiore continues to dominate with an 18‑1 record, while Holsinger’s Plumbing posted a 12‑1 triumph over Park Home, featuring hits from Perretta, Johnston and Colton Klausman.
East End and Bellwood‑Antis Action
The East End Youth Baseball League remains unbeaten for Greenwood Meadows, who improved to 19‑0 with a 16‑4 drubbing of Burgmeier’s Hauling, where B. Carney, Page and Wagner supplied the key hits.
In the Bellwood‑Antis Youth Baseball League, Parson’s holds the top spot at 13‑4‑0, and Martin Oil added a 10‑8 win over Messner’s, powered by home runs from Zendek and Sieler.
