The Logan‑Rogersville soccer program has cemented its reputation over the past decade, posting a 21‑4 record last season to claim its fourth straight 20‑win campaign and its tenth winning season in the last eleven years.
Coach Brett Wubbena attributes the sustained success to a stable coaching staff that has allowed players to build trust and familiarity over multiple years.
Returning starters such as midfielders Dustin Stewart and Carson Callen bring all‑state accolades and a deep understanding of each other’s tendencies, while sophomores Brooks Whitt, Paolo Selvaggi and Ethan Hart add depth to the midfield.
Freshmen Theo Jones and Milo Tucker are expected to make an immediate impact, providing fresh energy on the forward line.
Position battles and opening test
The forward position remains unsettled, with Finlee Smith, Jason Bevzyuk and Milo Tucker vying for minutes, while Levi Standefer will anchor a defense that will welcome three new backs.
Defenders Malcolm Jones and Anthony Polykov, formerly known for their offensive contributions, are now slated to fortify the backline, and goalkeeper Keaton Essary, who has shown marked improvement, looks forward to returning between the posts.
