Jeff Weible, a highly successful coach in Kitsap County, announced his resignation from both baseball and football positions at North Kitsap School District earlier this month.
The decision follows a personnel matter that led to his placement on administrative leave in May, when district officials determined that he had communicated with players through a personal device, a violation of school guidelines.
A Storied Record
Weible, who has spent his entire adult life coaching, leaves behind a storied record: a 315‑149 win‑loss mark in baseball with twenty playoff appearances, twelve league titles and thirteen state tournament berths.
His football résumé is equally impressive, featuring a 123‑37 record, fifteen playoff berths, nine league championships and nine state tournament appearances, highlighted by a 2022 championship‑game run that ended 31‑24 to Lynden.

Jenn Markaryan, a fellow coach, recalled the steady guidance he provided, while Jerry Parrish praised the way Weible built lasting relationships with players and staff.

Now, with his teaching role still on paid administrative leave, Weible says he is unsure whether he will return for the 2026‑27 school year. He plans to spend the next two years focusing on being a full‑time spectator at his son Teague Weible’s games, a role he describes as both a personal priority and a way to stay connected to the sport he loves.
