Louis-Philippe Dumoulin is set to headline the 2026 Grand Prix de Trois‑Rivières, the crown jewel of the NASCAR Canada calendar, as he looks to add a third triumph at the street circuit that has defined his career.
The 38‑year‑old driver, who captured the series titles in 2014 and 2019, enters the weekend sitting third in the championship after nine of fourteen races, a position bolstered by two top‑five finishes at the recent Edmonton doubleheader.
New qualifying challenges
This year’s edition brings a fresh twist: two short sprint races will determine the starting grid for the main event, a change that Dumoulin says adds a layer of strategy and heightened risk to every lap.
Over thirty drivers are expected to tackle the tight, twisty layout, making the competition among the fiercest of the season, while the series will return to action just days later in Markham, Ontario, underscoring the importance of reliable equipment.
Beyond the track, Dumoulin will take part in a series of fan engagements, sponsor activations and a transporter parade that will see his No. 47 WeatherTech Canada | Groupe Bellemare | Omnifab entry paraded through the city, adding a festive atmosphere to the weekend.
Dumoulin Compétition will also field a second car for his brother Jean‑François, a move that promises added family pride and a new dynamic for the team as they aim to finish the season strong.
