A New Era for Bulldog Soccer
Louisiana Tech soccer has released its complete 2026 schedule, a milestone that signals the program’s first year competing in the Sun Belt Conference.
Head coach Matt Lodge, in his debut season, said the schedule reflects a blend of challenging road trips and a home‑friendly start, giving the Bulldogs early momentum.
The Bulldogs will play 18 matches, seven of which are rematches from the 2025 campaign, including four against Sun Belt opponents, setting the stage for early conference battles.
The regular season opens with exhibition fixtures against Grambling and Central Arkansas before the team hosts its first three home games against Nicholls, Southeastern Louisiana and Lamar.
A highlight comes when Marshall visits Ruston for Louisiana Tech’s first-ever Sun Belt contest, while Appalachian State will also make a return trip to the campus.
The Sun Belt Championship is slated for November 9‑14 in Foley, Alabama, where the Bulldogs hope to make a strong impression in their inaugural campaign.
