Mikel Brown Jr. emerged as the most prolific scorer among the group, averaging 16.7 points per game for the Brooklyn Nets. His offensive output gave the Nets a reliable spark during the early stages of the exhibition schedule, even if the team fell short of the championship game. Across the same slate, Ryan Conwell distinguished himself for the Miami Heat, where he ranked among the league’s top three scorers with an average of 21 points per contest, underscoring his readiness for higher‑profile minutes.
The remaining four former Cardinals — J'Vonne Hadley, Chucky Hepburn, Isaac McKneely, and Malik Williams — each saw limited but meaningful action. Hadley appeared in all eight games for Miami, contributing five points per game in California before adding six in Las Vegas, while Hepburn’s brief stint with the Toronto Raptors yielded 6.5 points and an equal number of assists over two appearances. McKneely, playing for the Atlanta Hawks, posted 8.3 points in Utah and 5.5 in Las Vegas across seven games, and Williams contributed 3.8 points and 5.6 rebounds in five outings for the Chicago Bulls.
Despite the varied statistical outcomes, none of the six alumni advanced to the Summer League championship game, a reminder that even promising performances must be sustained to secure a permanent NBA spot.
