LSU’s baseball program is slated to headline the 2027 Live Like Lou Las Vegas College Baseball Classic, a three‑day showcase that will unfold at the state‑of‑the‑art Las Vegas Ballpark from March 5 through March 7.
A Return to the Desert
The tournament will bring together LSU, Arizona State, Iowa and Oregon State, each of which has a track record of competitive play, and it will mark the Tigers’ return to a venue where they previously went undefeated in the Jacksonville edition of the event.
Following the conclusion of the classic, the team will head to UNLV’s home field, Earl E. Wilson Stadium, for a non‑conference game on March 8, giving fans a chance to see the squad in action beyond the classic.
The Live Like Lou initiative blends high‑level competition with community outreach, underscoring the growing prominence of college baseball in the western United States and highlighting the event’s role in promoting the sport.
