LSU Soccer Freshmen Earn SEC Academic Honor Roll Accolades

Sariyah Bailey and Lila Jaillet recognized for scholarship and performance

Two members of the LSU women's soccer team have been named to the 2025‑26 SEC First‑Year Academic Honor Roll, underscoring the program’s dual focus on scholarship and sport.

The honor roll requires a minimum 3.0 grade point average and the completion of at least 24 semester hours, standards that both students have satisfied.

Sariyah Bailey, majoring in sport administration with a concentration in sport commerce, appeared in every match of her freshman campaign, starting 19 of 25 games and contributing nine goals and seven assists.

Her performances earned her a place on the Top Drawer Soccer Freshman Best XI Second Team and a spot on the midseason Top 100 Freshmen list.

Lila Jaillet, also pursuing a sport administration degree, did not see action on the field but was still acknowledged for her academic standing.

A Dual Commitment to Scholarship and Sport

Coaches and academic advisors at LSU have built support structures that guide student‑athletes through rigorous schedules, ensuring they can thrive in both arenas.

The SEC’s academic initiatives continue to set a benchmark for collegiate programs nationwide, with LSU’s honorees serving as role models for future cohorts.
