LSU’s women’s soccer program has been handed a boost as the 2026 SEC Preseason Coaches’ Poll places the Tigers tied for fourth among conference rivals.
The preseason ranking comes on the heels of a breakout 2025 campaign that saw the team reach the NCAA Sweet 16 for the first time in school history and finish with a program‑record 15‑6‑4 record.
A historic turnaround
Under head coach Sian Hudson, now in her seventh season, the Tigers captured their highest finish ever in program history and set a new win total that had eluded the team for decades.
The 2026 slate opens on August 12 with a road test at Wake Forest, and includes nine home matches in Baton Rouge, beginning with a home opener on August 16 against Northwestern State.
Season tickets are currently on sale, giving supporters the chance to follow the Tigers as they aim to maintain their upward trajectory in the national rankings.
