Dessert arrives after two seasons in Turkey, where he starred for Anadolu Efes in the Turkish Basketball Super League and contributed to the club’s EuroLeague campaigns. Standing 6‑foot‑11, he is taller than any LSU player from the previous roster, giving the Tigers a new presence in the paint.
His defensive skill set allows him to operate both as a power forward and a center, a dual‑position capability that head coach Will Wade hopes will diversify the team’s tactical options.
