The 2026 women's soccer season at Louisiana State University is shaping up to be a milestone year for the program, with two of its regular‑season matches slated for national broadcast on the SEC Network.
Ranked No. 16 in the United Soccer Coaches preseason poll, the Tigers enter the campaign after a breakthrough 2025 that saw them advance to the NCAA Sweet 16, a feat that has raised expectations among fans and analysts alike.
Broadcast schedule and key matchups
LSU will host Texas A&M on October 18 and travel to face Mississippi State on October 25, both games appearing on the SEC Network’s slate. The season opens on August 12 at Wake Forest, a program that entered the poll at No. 18, before the home opener against Northwestern State on August 16 at LSU Soccer Stadium.
Beyond the two SEC Network telecasts, ESPN’s expansive 2026 women’s college soccer coverage will showcase more than 1,980 matches across its networks, including the ACC Network, SEC Network and ESPNU. Fans can also stream over 1,750 matches on ESPN+ from 22 conferences, with additional LSU games available via SEC Network+ and ESPN+.
