Lucy Adams, a standout defender from Brown University’s field hockey program, has earned a place on the United States roster for the upcoming 2026 FIH Hockey Nations Cup.
The tournament is scheduled to unfold in Auckland, New Zealand, from June 15 through June 21, bringing together eight national squads in a high‑stakes competition.
A New Chapter for Brown’s Field Hockey Star
Adams’s selection follows her elevation to the U.S. Senior National Team earlier this year, a promotion that culminated in a silver‑medal performance at the 2025 Pan American Games.
That medal secured the United States a berth in the 2026 Hockey World Cup, which will be staged in Belgium and the Netherlands in August, adding a global stage to her growing résumé.
Competing nations include New Zealand, the United States, Japan, South Korea, Chile, Scotland, France and India, each vying for a spot in the subsequent Hockey World Cup.
