Former player and coach brings a championship pedigree to the Wolves

A new chapter for the Wolves

Western Oregon University has named Mady Graham as the newest assistant coach for its women's soccer team, a move that underscores the program's commitment to building on recent successes and maintaining its upward trajectory in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference.

Graham's journey to Monmouth includes a distinguished playing career at William Penn University and Snow College, where she helped secure conference and regional titles, laying a foundation of competitive excellence that she now hopes to translate onto the sidelines.

A journey built on winning

Her coaching résumé features stints as an assistant at Missouri Western State University, where the team posted a 26‑6‑10 record and earned two NCAA tournament berths, as well as a period at Minot State University from 2020 through 2024 during which she contributed to defensive organization and player development.

Prior to the collegiate ranks, Graham honed her tactical acumen at Lehi High School in Utah and Central High School in Missouri, and contributed to the development of youth talent with Utah Arsenal FC between 2016 and 2018, experiences that sharpened her ability to mentor emerging athletes.

Graham emphasizes player growth, tactical flexibility, and a relentless work ethic, traits she says were forged during her own collegiate experiences and reflected in the programs she has served.

Looking ahead to the future

The Wolves' head coach expressed confidence that Graham's blend of playing insight and coaching discipline will help the squad maintain its competitive edge, while the new assistant looks forward to contributing to a culture of ambition and community engagement within the university.
