Former Arkansas forward Malique Ewin has officially joined the Oregon Ducks, completing a move that was confirmed by multiple recruiting outlets on Monday.
The 6‑foot‑10 senior brings a rare combination of size and playmaking, having averaged 9.8 points and 5.7 assists per game last season while helping the Razorbacks secure a respectable campaign.
Ewin's path to Oregon has been anything but linear. After beginning his career at Ole Miss, he transferred to South Plains Community College, then spent stints at Florida State and Arkansas, accumulating a fifth year of eligibility thanks to a Denver court injunction that granted him an additional season.
His arrival comes as Oregon looks to bounce back from a sub‑.500 record in the 2025‑26 campaign, a season marked by the first losing record under head coach Dana Altman, who now hopes the new frontcourt piece can shift the tide.
Arkansas' Summer Plans
Meanwhile, Arkansas is using its summer schedule to fine‑tune a roster that will feature eight incoming freshmen, including five‑star prospects Jordan Smith, Abdou Toure, Miikka Muurinen and JJ Andrews, as well as two portal additions in Cooper Bowser and Jeremiah Wilkinson.
