Manhattan College's men's basketball program has released its 2026 non‑conference schedule, a slate that blends home‑court tradition with a series of high‑profile road tests.
Opening Moves
Head coach John Gallagher said the schedule was designed to pit the Green and White against some of the nation's most respected programs, setting a competitive tone before conference play begins.
The season opens on November 3 with a road test at Rupp Arena, where the Jaspers will meet the University of Kentucky Wildcats in what promises to be a marquee encounter.
Just two days later, Manhattan will host the University of Albany Great Danes at Draddy Gymnasium for the home opener, kicking off a stretch that includes games against Maine, Fordham and a series of road trips.
A Mix of Home and Away
The team will take part in the America East‑Metro Basketball Challenge when they welcome the University of Maine Black Bears on November 8, followed by a historic 114th Battle of the Bronx against Fordham on November 17.
Road trips include visits to Le Moyne College on November 14, NJIT on November 25 and Morgan State over the Thanksgiving weekend, while a December 20 matchup at the University of New Hampshire caps the regular season.
December brings additional home fixtures against Loyola (MD) on December 8 and City College of New York on December 12, before the campaign concludes with a final road game at Wagner Seahawks of the NEC on December 17.
Throughout the schedule, the Jaspers will also face the University of Miami Hurricanes on November 20, adding another top‑tier opponent to a lineup that emphasizes quality over quantity.
Coach Gallagher highlighted that each game is an opportunity to build chemistry, test new strategies and prepare the squad for the rigors of the upcoming conference schedule.

With a roster that includes returning standouts such as Quron Elliott, Isaac Johnson and Anthony Pacciarelli, the Green and White hope to translate early challenges into sustained success.
