Crawford’s Breakout Season in Kansas City
During the 2025‑26 campaign he helped the Kansas City Mavericks reach the Kelly Cup Finals, posting 14 goals, 72 assists and a league‑leading 86 points in 70 games, earning the ECHL’s Most Valuable Player honor.
The 28‑year‑old blue‑liner also contributed 14 points in 17 playoff appearances, showcasing his ability to elevate his game when the stakes rise.
International Experience and Accolades
After stints with the ECHL affiliates of Orlando and Toledo, Crawford spent two seasons in the Elite Ice Hockey League with Cardiff Devils, where he tallied 112 points in 108 games and was crowned the league’s top defenseman for two consecutive years.
His 350 ECHL appearances have yielded 260 points, underscoring a consistency that the Griffins hope will translate into immediate impact on their defensive pairings.
