The Marist Red Foxes are opening their doors to the local community with a complimentary basketball practice scheduled for July 30.
The event, held on the college’s main court, will showcase both the women’s and men’s squads as they fine‑tune their play ahead of the new season.
Fans will be able to watch the women’s team take the floor from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., followed by the men’s squad from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
A Community Preview
Admission is completely free, and the Red Fox Den will remain open throughout the session, offering beverages and a cash bar for those who wish to stay longer.
Beyond the on‑court action, the practice serves as a chance for alumni, students and neighborhood residents to connect with the program and get an early glimpse of the team’s chemistry and strategy.
Organizers hope the open practice will reinforce Marist’s ties to the surrounding area, highlighting the college’s commitment to accessibility and fan engagement as the season approaches.
