Junior forward Jocelyn Leigh of Marquette University’s women’s soccer program has been selected for the 2026 Preseason All‑BIG EAST Conference Team, a testament to her breakout performance in the previous season.
Leigh led the Golden Eagles with a team‑high 15 points and seven goals, recording one assist and firing 12 shots on frame. Her recognition marks the first All‑Conference selection for a Marquette player since Elsi Twombly in 2022, underscoring a resurgence of talent within the program.
Conference Honors and Awards
Georgetown University captured the top spot in the BIG EAST Preseason Poll with 98 points and eight first‑place votes, followed by UConn and Xavier, while Creighton and Villanova rounded out the top five. Providence, Butler, St. John’s, DePaul and Seton Hall occupied the remaining positions, reflecting a deep and competitive conference landscape.
