The Big Ten Conference unveiled the 2026‑27 men’s basketball slate on Tuesday, outlining a full schedule of conference contests for the Maryland Terrapins.
A milestone season
Maryland will meet Indiana, Michigan State and Rutgers in home‑and‑home series, while the Terps will also host Illinois, Minnesota, Nebraska, Northwestern, UCLA, USC and Wisconsin at the Xfinity Center.
The road portion of the league schedule includes trips to Iowa, Michigan, Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, Purdue and Washington, giving the team a challenging mix of venues.
Non‑conference games, along with their dates, times and television assignments, will be released later this summer, allowing the athletic department to fine‑tune the final calendar.
All Terrapin contests will be carried on the Maryland Sports Radio Network, where veteran voices Johnny Holliday, Chris Knoche and Walt Williams will provide play‑by‑play commentary.
Celebrating 25 years
The 2026‑27 campaign marks the 25th anniversary of Maryland’s 2002 NCAA championship, and the program will honor that milestone with a series of special promotions, giveaways and commemorative gifts for season‑ticket holders.
Home games will feature limited‑edition memorabilia, player appearances and autograph sessions, while a select group of early‑renewing fans can receive exclusive items through a June 30 deadline.
Season‑ticket renewals and new purchases are available through the official Maryland athletics site, www.UMTerps.com, or by calling 301‑314‑7060.
