The 2026 World Masters Hockey (WMH) World Cup will unfold across two neighboring countries, the Netherlands and Belgium, marking a rare multi‑nation staging of the tournament. Competition begins on 22 July in Rotterdam and Schiedam, where men’s and women’s divisions for the O‑35, O‑40, O‑45 and O‑50 age groups will take place.
Tournament format and venues
A second wave of matches follows between 6 and 16 August in the Belgian town of Brasschaat and the Dutch city of Breda, covering the O‑55, O‑60 and O‑65 categories. In total, fifteen United States squads will compete, joining more than 400 teams from around the world. Over 80 American athletes are slated to make their World Cup debut, underscoring the growing depth of the sport in the country.
The competition will be spread over six venues in five different cities, giving spectators a chance to experience a variety of local atmospheres while following a tightly scheduled programme. Organisers have mapped the schedule to maximise travel efficiency, grouping younger age brackets early and reserving the later stages for the more experienced divisions.
