Maui County has added a fresh batch of soccer equipment to its summer youth program, delivering 200 size‑4 balls from FWC2026 US Inc. just as the Play‑and‑Learn Sessions (PALS) are set to close.

The balls, earmarked for children aged six to twelve, were approved by the Maui County Council in May and arrived in time for the program’s final week, which wrapped up on July 24.
Ryan Min, a county recreation specialist, said the children’s excitement was evident the moment the containers were opened, underscoring the tangible impact of the donation.
Patrick McCall, director of County Parks and Recreation, highlighted that the new equipment will not only enhance play but also promote long‑term health and well‑being for the island’s youngsters.
Officials note that the contribution reflects a growing partnership between local government and private sponsors, aiming to enrich community sports initiatives for years to come.
