Syracuse junior goalkeeper Maya Naimoli has been crowned the Atlantic Coast Conference Goalkeeper of the Week after a dominant stretch of matches from August 17 through 24.
During that period she posted two clean sheets, including a 1‑0 victory over Northwestern on August 20 where she turned away two pivotal chances, and a 3‑0 win against Princeton on August 23 in which she made five saves while the Orange held firm.
Her season-long numbers are equally impressive: she has been on the field for every minute of the campaign, posting a goals‑against average of 0.25 and a save percentage of .929, and she already holds three shutouts with a 3‑0‑1 record.
Looking Ahead
The Orange will next host Niagara on August 27 at 7 p.m.; admission is free and the game will stream on ACC Network Extra, giving fans another chance to see Naimoli’s steady presence between the posts.
