The win was powered by a balanced attack that saw Davey Lee smash a double and a single, Zach Weston notch two singles, and Garrett Sawyer drive a double, while Ronin Michaud, Mark Bowen, Coltin Warner, Hayden Palmer, Marriner Herring and Michael Marr each added a single.
On the mound, Zach Weston earned the win, limiting Lincoln to two runs on three hits while striking out four batters.
Earlier in the tournament, Medomak had dispatched Oceanside 14‑7 and Five Town 6‑4, building momentum with a four‑run third inning against Oceanside and a six‑run fourth and fifth inning explosion against Five Town.
Lincoln, meanwhile, advanced through its own series of battles, including a 9‑6 win over Five Town in the opening playoff game after rallying from a 3‑0 deficit, with Evan Pafundi delivering a two‑run home run and Sam Chan contributing a pair of singles.
The upcoming championship will pit Medomak against Waldo, a team that previously edged Lincoln 5‑1 in a later playoff meeting, and the stakes are heightened after Waldo’s recent 20‑13 triumph over Lincoln that saw a late surge of ten runs.
