Success, however, came at a cost. Sixteen veterans departed, leaving only ten returning players for the upcoming season. The departure of key contributors forced the coaching staff to overhaul the roster almost entirely, setting the stage for a dramatic rebuilding effort.
A Wave of Fresh Talent
To fill the void, the Mustangs will field 28 freshmen, many of whom hail from local high schools. Among the newcomers are Jordan Borota, Edward Chuisaca, Yossou Diop, Anthony Genovesi, Jason Matano, Jonathan Mendez and Giovanni Ochoa.
